Wow, the year has literally flown away from us. This in fact is our last airport news update for 2012. This week we found some of the more usual airport stories (strikes, fog) as well as some not so common ones (mice, star stopped in Norway).
It’s the last week in September and it seems to have been a very busy finish of the month in regards to airport related news. We found pieces from around the globe: Nigerian women stranded in Saudi Arabia, a New York evacuation, refuelling problems in Norway or a fake pilot arrested in Italy among other stories.
It was a long and very busy week with airport news headlines such as: Drug war hits airport, bird strike delays flight, airlines cry foul over Thai airport transfer or glamorous new terminal opens in the United States. It went on and on, but – as always – we bring you the essence of the top airport stories from the week, all neatly packed in digestible portions.
